Smallholder Agribusiness and Resilience Project (SARP) Inviting for Agro-enterprise Promoter Vacancy.
Qualifications :
- She / He should have Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Agriculture Technology and Management preferably specialized in Agricultural Economics, Business Management, and/ or marketing or a field related to rural enterprise development. Postgraduate degree or relevant professional qualification on business management/ business administration or relevant field will be an added advantage
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience value chain development in particular agriculture markets, preferably working experience with private sector.
- He/ she should have sound experience in private sector led business development, service provision and supply chain development.
- He/ she must be have knowledge and experience in building capacity of stakeholders and facilitation of multi- stakeholder consultation workshops and training.
- He/ she must be have knowledge and experience in building capacity of stakeholders and facilitation of multi- stakeholder consultation workshops and training.
- She / He needs to have provable experience in demonstrate creativeness, entrepreneurial skills.
- Experience in agro-enterprise development, agricultural value chains and market development.
- He/ She should possess a valid motorcycle license and also a motorcycle is preferrable. Computer literate
- Sound Computer literacy
- Good inter-personal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluency in English and Sinhala and preferably Tamil
