The Department of Commercial Law, Faculty of Law, University of Colombo invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the Certificate Course in Patent Law.
Admission Requirements for Certificate Course in Patent Law:
- A Basic Degree in the subject of Law or Legal Studies OR
- A professional qualification in the field of Law
Course Fee: LKR 60, 000 (for Sri Lankan citizens)
USD 175 (for citizens of SAARC member countries)
USD 225 (for all other applicants)
Medium: English (*Online Lectures)
Duration: 30 hours – Saturday 11.00 am – 1.00 pm (Indian Standard Time)
Structure of the Course – Coursework and Assessment
Payment of a non-refundable fee (application fee) of LKR 1,500/- (for the Sri Lankan participants) or 5 USD (for the participants outside Sri Lanka) should be made to any branch of the People’s Bank of Sri Lanka or via online transfer to the credit of the “Main collection account of the University of Colombo” under Reference No. 310014200018.
Duplicate bank payment slip or proof of payment of the application fee with the duly filled application form, a copy of the applicant’s Identity card or passport, and the certified copies of the educational certificates should be sent to the
