Secondment of Government Medical Officer to Sri Lanka Police Reserve Assistant Superintendent of Police ( Medical)

Applications are invited from the permanent Medical Officers and presently in Government Service (male/female) to fill the above-mentioned vacancy, in the Police Medical Services Division.

Basic Qualification

• Having obtained MBBS (SL) or any equivalent medical degree MBBS with completing internship training conferred by any university recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council together with permanent and fully renewed registration by the Sri Lanka Medical Council.

Other Qualifications

• Preference will be given to those who have gathered experience and undergone recommended and approved training in special fields as medical officers relevant to the present requirements of the police hospital
• Documents to be annexed with the application
  • (i) Copy of the Birth Certificate
  • (ii) Certificates confirming the medical educational Qualifications
  • (iii) Certificate of the permanent and fully renewed registration by the Sri Lanka Medical Council
  • (iv) Certificates regarding additional professional qualification
  • (v) Certificates regarding special professional experiences
  • (vi) Service Certificates (vii) Recommendation letter by the present head of the institution

Salary, other allowances, and facilities

• Entitle to draw the salary and due increments with all allowances paid by the department of health services under the secondment basis appointment.
• Eligible for additional service allowances as per MA/MS/N1/11/2018 and General Circular dated 2018.02.26 of the Ministry of Health.
• In addition, they entitled to some of the privileges due to active service officers of Reserve Assistant Superintendent of Police.
• Entitled to get an official vehicle with the driver depending of the exigencies service.
