The Grade 5 Scholarship Exam in Sri Lanka, also known as the “Grade 5 Scholarship Examination,” is a competitive examination that is administered by the Department of Examinations of the Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka. The exam is taken by students who are in their fifth grade of primary education and is designed to identify academically talented students who are eligible for scholarship awards to attend leading schools in the country. The Department of Examinations has announced that the results of the Grade Five Scholarship Examination will be released this month.
According to the Department, paper marking is almost finished. After a final analysis, the exam results will be digitized. In the interim, investigations into complaints about the Grade Five Scholarship Exam were also completed. 334,698 students took the Scholarship Exam on December 18, 2022, at 2,894 different sites.
