The Sri Lankan Human Rights Commission is seeking applications from motivated college students and recent graduates who want to volunteer their time to help the Commission’s work and get training in human rights promotion and protection initiatives, including research. We will give preference to those who have experience in the fields of human rights, law, politics, international relations, or other social sciences and humanities. Those with strong writing abilities as well as an active dedication to public interest activities would be at a considerable advantage.

Applicants with training in law, political science, international relations, or other areas of social sciences and also humanities will be given preference.

Those who can demonstrate an active commitment to public interest activities and also good writing skills would have a distinct advantage.

The internships are for a minimum of 3 months duration and could be served either at the Head Office Regional Offices or District Office or Sub Offices (refer to HRCSL website for locations).
