• LLB (Honours) degree from a recognized institution.
• Should have passed the G.C.E.(O/L) examination in six (06) subjects at one sitting with credit passes inSinhala Language, English Language and Mathematics.
• Should have passed in all subjects at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination in any stream (except the common general paper) at one sitting.
• Demonstrated fluency in English.
•  Previous experience in legal research and writing.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
•  Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age on the closing date of applications.
•  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic setting.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and software is preferred.
